A seasoned finance executive with over two decades of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and strategic advisory, Arden Lee has handled complex transactions, such as the acquisition of Jarden by Newell Rubbermaid, the sale of Petco to CVC/CPPIB, the sale of Academy Sports + Outdoors to KKR and the IPOs of US Foods, FiveBelow, Sportsman's Warehouse and Teavana. Arden Lee advises clients across various industries as an independent consultant on financial strategy, operational efficiency, and M&A.
From 2019 to 2023, Mr. Lee served as CFO of Weedmaps, where he played a key role in taking the company public on NASDAQ. He developed a robust finance function and improved operational standards to support growth, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and overseeing acquisitions and strategic investments. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of global business planning at Nike.
Mr. Lee combines technical skills with a forward-thinking approach for his clients. Outside of his professional pursuits, he has interests in East Asian culture, jazz, and community service, and he enjoys water polo and jiu-jitsu.
